Women...Women...Women....!!
W.O.M.E.N. These five alphabets make a single word but it can't be defined neither in words nor in few lines.
Who is Women.?
A birth giving machine? NO.., A working machine..? NO...
Then why people consider her only as a machine? A women is the only reason we are here, she keeps her child for nine months in her womb. She is a live example of pain. A woman plays different roles in her life which is even impossible to think about, she is your daughter, sister, wife, your mother and sometimes girlfriend too. If women are around us then why each and every single day, they are losing their dignity, their self-respect and some of them have also lost their lives. Guys, women are like sweet caterpillars then why such ridiculous thinking and society never led this caterpillar to grow into a beautiful butterfly. Why always she is abused? Why always she is molested and be the victim of ill treatment? When a man gives his decision, he is a man and when a woman gives her opinion, she is wrong. With the daily highlights and surveys we can determine that WOMEN ARE UNSAFE IN OUR SOCIETY. The woman living in your house, in your neighbour or in your city always arises a same question-'ARE WE SAFE ANYWHERE?'. Tell me ARE WOMEN SAFE ANYWHERE? And we all know the answer, no the women are not safe anywhere, be it the country's capital. a remote village or a foreign destination. They are maltreated everywhere.
I would like to ask you for the reactions and all the rumor that your ears recieve when a girl is raped around us. I think they are somewhat like-"OH POOR GIRL..!! WHO WILL MARRY HER NOW? HER LIFE IS RUINED. SURELY IT WAS HER MISTAKE".
HELLO DEAR INDIANS!! Today if she is raped, if she is abused, she is not responsible for that, we ourselves are responsible for that because we can't clap with one hand. Me, you and our families are as much to blame for the lack of safety and ridiculous fears that our gender experiences when the next ruffian eyeing me at every corner. Why? Because a minute when someone pounces, pinches or comments on me, I, like every other woman, have two choices: one, to retaliate and make clear that its unacceptable, two, cower down and make a shortest route for home, and make mental note to avoid that particular road, shop, locality, corner, whenever possible.
Indian parents feel afraid of sending their daughters alone, no matter if it is day or night. Fear of getting molested or raped is in the eyes of each girl walking alone in a dark street where there is no police constable doing his night service. What parents teach their girls? Don't go out of your home after 7 and wear jeans inspite of wearing the clothes of your own choice. Why is it so? If she wears shorts, then men sees her with devil eyes, if she wears suit then the same thing happens. No matter what a girl is wearing, the way of watching her should be improved. Men force women to lower their neck and then walk in front of them. But why? Yes, we are Indians and we worship several goddesses and even celebrate 18 days of navratri, not only girls but boys too celebrate it with a great amazement, then why we abuse the women around us? We do preach the idols then why can't we preach the live idols around us?
The capital of INDIA, OOPS..!! let me correct myself, THE CRIME CAPITAL OF INDIA, I didn't name it so, its the world which call our DELHI with such phrase. We need not to go too far for the biggest gang rape that took place in the capital. She was just travelling by bus with her friend and suddenly faced an unexpected incident which met her to her dead end. Even when she was taking her last breath she was screaming "MAA..I WANT TO LIVE MAA...PLEASE SAVE MY LIFE...I WANT JUSTICE MAA" . I ask you all, what was her mistake? Was that any unfortunate night like that of AMAVAS KI RAAT.? Or being a girl was her mistake? A name given to the victim was NIRBHAYA, i.e., fearless, and yes she was fearless. The case happened in year 2012, the NIRBHAYA CASE, it bring tears in my eyes when i think of her situation. But yes I am happy to say that our Nirbhaya got justice, yes she got justice. If I will ever have jini in my dreams and he will ask me for one wish then I will ask for a safe and secure society not only for women but for all the citizens of the whole world.
I am feeling ashame to say that 24,923 rape cases took place in India within a single year 2013 even after a breath taking rape which took place in NEW DELHI, among these 24,470 were commited by victim's own relative and nieghbor; in other words the victim knew the alleged rapists in 98% of the cases. How could we blame the Prime Minister for that? They can only punish the accuse but we have to change our own mentality."Its easy to break a single stick rather than a bundle." Similarly, MR. NARENDRA MODI alone can't bring good days until we won't hold each other's hand and move ahead for a better future. If we want to develop our country, then develop it not only by reducing poverty but also by improving your thinking. Changes can be made like- In GPO services, there should be lady cab drivers in the night shift. We should give a chance to ladies to be our gaurds. Try atleast "DO LEAVE BEHIND A VIRTUE THAT THE STORM OF WEATHER CAN NEVER DESTROY YOUR FAITH IN YOU". When ever we turn the page of newspaper, the headlines are always about- SEXUAL HARASSMENT, HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND ILL TREATMENT BY THEIR OWN HUSBANDS AND BROTHERS, YES!!..This is the reality. Moving in luxurious cars or bikes never specifies our class, it is the thinking and the etiquette that we present to other make us more classy.!!
OK..let me consider the front page of MAIL TODAY which shouts on bold "SHAME ON DELHI MEN". The survey by UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR WOMEN AND JAGORI reveals the dark side of Delhi, which women come across. Everyday 66% of capital's women were molested 2-5 times last year and worst- 70% of men looked the other way when they saw these cases. In the capital city of India, there is no safe public place for women. 54% of women respondents feel most unsafe when in crowded public transport, bus stops, stations, etc. 50% of them are followed by drunken men in public places. So increased alcohol harmful effects are showing LOUD AND CLEAR.
To bring a change we have to face several problems because "smooth sea never made a skilled mariner"
Two lines for women:
"SHE IS A WIFE AND SHE HAS A LIFE,
SHE IS A MOTHER AND SHE DO BOTHER,
SHE IS A DAUGHTER AND SHE WANTS LAUGHTER"
Women's beauty is not in the clothes she wear, a figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty resides inside her heart, when you will open the door of her heart only love resides.
"RESPECT WOMEN, RESPECT YOUR NATION"
